Fun fact: I have no problem asking a guy out and paying for meal. As for the car, it's a common sense when it comes to dating apps: I'm not getting into a stranger's car, as I've never met them and I've only spoken with them for a week virtually.

I respect men's eagerness to pay for me and be the provider. Having that said, I want to be equal and take care of my share of the expenses. I'm also investing 50% of the effort. And if I'm not, I'm striving to be there ASAP.

I'm totally fine with a "no". In fact, I would be grateful for a "no". Because I would know the guy doesn't see me as his family or in his future, and I should look for someone who does. Equal is, in fact, equal.
