I 100% agree. And I'm sorry that your daughter had to experience this. Although, she's got a great mom and a village full of step uncles and, I bet, other people too... So actually, I'm not really sorry; it seems your girl grew up in an excellent environment and not having a dad worked to her advantage.

It's just sad how many good mothers are out there, while the number of bad or at least sub-par fathers is mindboggling. And yeah, I bet those dads lie to their community and in church.

This is exactly the reason why I would prefer to have kids on my own. I'd rather know I have to take care of everything and have no help from a man, instead of expecting so much and potentially being disappointed. And then having to go through a decline in mental health thanks to that, through a divorce, and sharing a kid with someone who isn't a good dad.
