I appreciate your input. None of my debt is a credit card debt. I’m a banker, it would be unfortunate to get tied up in a high interest debt with this profession. :) The reason I’m in debt, by the way, is because I refused to live rent-free with my parents since I was 18, refused to allow them pay for my education, and refused any of their help with any of my expenses. I should be done paying out my loans soon, and since I started making extra income on Medium and I’m building another side hustle; it may happen as early as beginning of next year.

I would never accept my partner’s help with my debt. Also, I wouldn’t even be comfortable living at their home without paying rent, for example. I can take care of myself. I would only ask for help if a tragedy occurred, and it probably wouldn’t be financial help.

I simply want an equal partner who is educated in finances and has a “wealthy” mindset just like I do. I may not become a millionaire by the age of 30, but I’m on a track to become well off and retire early. And again, I would gladly be with someone who has less money than I do, as long as they are okay with different income levels abs being a stay at home dad, for example.

But I appreciate your opinion and I’ll think about what you said.
