He spent an hour talking about how his teachers said he’ll never be a writer, and how he became one against all odds. He then promoted his Medium writing course that, he claimed, was worth $2,000, but he’s selling it for $197. The moment I heard that, I left the meeting.
I respect the hustle and I know people want to earn money, but that didn’t seem like something I should sign up for. He didn’t give any actual advice.
