I don’t think it was a solution. More like a signal towards the corporate America that time is up - or at least that people are fed up. Killing Brian Thompson didn’t solve the issues with a lack of affordable and accessibly healthcare.
I guess I’m a bad person, because I would surely love to see people like Putin killed. Will it stop the war? Unlikely. Will it make a difference? Yes it will. And also, that’s karma. Would I wish death on corporate CEOs? Not really. But do I believe that killing the CEO of one of the worst health insurance companies, who directly contributed to suffering and deaths of many people, is justice? In a way, yes.
