I had someone add a private note to my Medium story and sending me a link to one of their articles, asking to read it. Is this even worse? Lol.

I started sending friend request to Medium folks on Facebook, whom I interacted with more than once, or to those who I've had a conversation with in the group. But adding someone and DM-ing your article... That's a step too far.
