I'm a great-granddaugher of a man who fought through WWII and helped to free many people, including Jewish victims. I don't remember if he entered any camps, but his actions certainly resulted in many lives being saved, including Jews. Same applies to my other relatives who fought in WWII.

As I'm watching the current events, I can't stop thinking about Hitler. And then I think about the current world dictators, about racist groups, about anti-feminist movements many years ago (and even now we have a few!). The topic is different, but the idea is the same: discrimination, human rights violation, and brainwashing people into thinking some of us are better than others.

TImes change, but the idea stays the same. But the trush is, such discrimination should have never existed in the first place.
