I’m glad some Russians have had a much better experience. I suppose everyone’s experience is very different. I read your pub sometimes, and considering how many hateful conversations I read in Russian and participated for (obviously, I was the anti-hate party), I can probably write more about the situation in Russia. My friend’s English isn’t great, but maybe I can get him to share more stories and thoughts with me.
