I'm observing what's currently unfolding in the society worldwide, and to be honest I'm not exactly happy with either one of those movements. But to be completely honest, they are quite different. I rarely encounter women who are misandristic, angry, radical and hateful of men. Once in a while I come across someone like that, and it's disappointing. But overall, women are just quietly stating that they're happy on their own, it's more peaceful for them, and the society isn't respecting their rights & freedoms, neither it's acknowleding the unfair treatment they have to endure - and due to that, they decide to enjoy life alone and remain single.
But when you look at the manosphere movements, including MGTOW, they are full of extremely angry men, who are upset that women dare to not date them or have sex with them, that they dare to live without them and be happy. Those men blame feminism without even realizing how beneficial feminism has been to not only women, but partially to men as well; and they refuse to acknowledge the injustices that have been committed against women by the society. So, while the 4B movement is centered around a message that's more positive than negative (women can be happy on their own, they shouldn't succumb to the societal expectations and deserve good partners as opposed to bad ones), the message behind manosphere groups is mind-bogglingly hateful, abusive and even dangerous.
I am not exactly a part of 4B; I have my own views without any movements. But as I'm reading and hearing reactions from men, it scares me and makes me less enclined to interact with them, as I fear for my safety and feel afraid of meeting a man who's secretly a woman hater and abuser.
