I'm still upset about the shooting. I'm from ON, and while NS is not my community, reading the news was devastating.

I totally agree about the privilage. A lot of people have it. Why would someone point out your privilege, when you were challenging the press' treatment of white privilege in general? That's counter-intuitive.
