It's a similar story for everyone, unfortunately. Plus-size people certainly have a unique experience, but the same concept applies to height, hair colour, body shape, particular body parts, age, ethnicity, race, etc. As women, we are often insecure for a variety of reasons. Height is a big one too, although it's more of male insecurity.

I'm sorry this happened to you. The guy is a typical "nice guy" (as in he thinks he is, but he's actually not). I'd just laugh it off, blocked him and continued swiping.
