It’s awful hour family chose their old-fashioned and closed-minded principals, along with judgement, over you. But you know what? This is for the best. A real family accepts us no matter what. Considering you didn’t do anything “bad”, you didn’t hurt anyone, and you respect everyone around you – you have absolutely nothing to feel ashamed about. You have a job, and while it’s different from many other careers, you had every right to choose it.

The good news is, we choose our family. Our best friends and those we love substitute family members who didn’t care enough to stay in our lives.
