No each their own. If you were clear about dating people casually and they were okay with that, then I see nothing wrong with this concept. You wanted to temporarily see them, and they also wanted to have you in their life only for a short period of time.

But most of what you described is immaturity and lack of character. It must also be very lonely and overall horrible to not have someone who would love you.
