Not just money but also social status and citizenship. The most recent story I've read was about a white American guy who couldn't find a girlfriend back home, but got endless dates & sexual experiences as he landed in the Philippines. White people are considered automatically "better" and of higher social status in some/many non-white countries. And yes, they are associated with money. There is an abundance of certain women interested in seeing an exotic white man, hoping to score a ticket to a better country, but also simply for experience.

Well, that's according to these men who sometimes share such experiences online. Since there are maaany stories like that, plus women describing similar experiences on their acquaintances; I'm inclined to conclude those to be real.
