Shannon! I'm not a doctor, but I have very mild ADHD which I'm usually able to control without meds. But there was a period when I used it, and after a while a realized my doctor recommended me an opioid-based medication. PLEASE, PLEASE do your research! I'm only suggesting this because you already have a negative experience with this clinic. I'm not suggesting your doctor is not knowledgeable, but MOST of the ADHD meds are opioid-based, and the opioid crisis is real.

Didn't want to scare you, just sharing my own experience. My doctor NEVER mentioned he's prescribing me opioid, and if it wasn't for me not wishing to take a bunch of meds, I may have ended up being hooked on opioids.

I hope all this works out for you! And, hopefully, your meds make your life easier.
