You are very correct. Even I, myself, being from one of the poorest European countries, can attest to women being more and more progressive. After all, the more educated a person is, the less they need help surviving. Thank God for birth control as well. Even in poorer African countries many people are having less children because they're move focused on education.

But you know what? Unfortunately, almost every country has folks from low-income families who would leap at the chance of marrying a well-off person. Not just women but men as well. And considering the raising costs of living, more and more of us are having trouble paying for expenses. And since certain men go exclusively for much younger women who are not educated yet, don't have careers or skills, and surely lack experiences - it doesn't look good.

And yes, many people just randomly meet someone in another country while travelling. I'd even go as far as saying that certain European countries mind be "better" in terms of living conditions and laws compared to the US and Canada. And sure, simply meeting someone is absolutely fine and great! The true "passport bro" title applies only to very specific individuals with hateful, insecure, negative and overall awful mindset.
