They do, in a sense, haha. But not exactly? If a woman has to endure slave-like-treatment from the passport bro, has to work as a maid and cook for years, discovers her spouse is a horrible person yet doesn't know how to leave, and has to sleep with the guys all this time... Citizenship is the smallest reward she gets in this case after getting away from such individuals.

But in my opinion, the emotional and physical labour and being with someone who's not a good human might be a reward too high to pay for the immigration papers.
