This is so true. I spent 2-3 days, probably around 6 hours writing my most recent story that was based on scientific research and psychology. It got almost no reads. But then my stupid dating stories? They originally went viral and still get me views each months.

By the end of the day, I’d gladly write for free. I don’t mind writing stories that bring almost no attention. It’s just odd that well thought out pieces get little reads.
