This made me think about my goal of adopting a child in 10-15 years. I know for sure I wouldn't be able to handle a special needs kid, and I'm being honest with myself about that. I would love to give such a child a loving home, but I have certain health issues, which will make it extremely difficult to provide a good enough care. Therefore, I won't go through this kind of adoption, as there should be a much better fit for a baby with special needs.

You need to understand these things before you adopt. Know your limitations.
