This reminded me of how I wrote an article titled “the ultimate maturity test for men”, saying women should mention they are okay proposing themselves, and if a man runs away after hearing that, he didn’t pass the test. The article went viral and there were dozens if not hundreds of butthurt men in the comments. And also women laughing at their butthurt comments. I don’t think those men hated me; but they weren’t happy to read such a perspective on dating and proposals.
