Ukrainian-Canadian here. First of all, I enjoyed reading your article, it has A LOT of interesting and important facts and information. I learned something about drugs! Nice.

Medium prefers when you add sources to the facts you post, so it would be great if you could do that in the future. I googled some of these facts and found sources for many. As a reader, it's useful and enjoyable to click on the links and read even more about the topic. Also, Medium usually curates (as in distributes) mostly articles that have sources listed, just in case you're interested in getting more views and reads.

I think a few facts may not be accurate. For example, President Zelenskyy signed the bill to legalize medical weed last month, yes, but it will only come in effect some time in July. Currently, it's still illegal. You cannot grow any plants and you won't be able to do so even after the legalization goes through.

But it's crucial to discuss this topic because of the negative effects of Russia's war against Ukraine, so THANK YOU for writing this. Ukraine doesn't have a culture of safe drug consumption and they are very against any sort of drugs, weed included. Thank God people are becoming more open-minded and educated. I'm not a drug consumer but we see marijuana as a "lowest level drug" in Canada. The moment it became legal for all, people started using less of it and you stopped smelling it throughout the entire country, lol. Also, war heroes and anyone with war-induced PTSD can use this drug for mental health reasons, meaning it will be a huge help if consumed responsibly. As for hard drugs, it's upsetting and concerning that they're becoming more of a problem.
