Unfortunately, they do. For some reason every time I tell men who are trying to hit me up that I'm not looking for a relationship right now despite being single, they get confused and upset. Sometimes they even get angry, especially when I say that I don't center my life around finding a man, getting married and having kids, and that my ideal plan is to have kids of my own when I'm 35. This has nothing to do with them and everything to do with me, but they still get angry that a woman dares to form family plans of her own without their involvement. As if every man deserves a woman, like it's their birthright or something; and if women choose to be single and have children themselves, it means they are taking away something that's owed to men.
