What you wrote is very true: leveraging debt can take you places in life. I think Dave Ramsey should point out that "stupid" debt is bad - as in credit card debt people use to finance lavish unnecessary purchases, vacations, etc. But most of us strive to get into real estate, and almost no one can do that without securing a mortgage.
