Yeah, large cities in Canada and USA are expensive. I also live in the most expensive Canadian city - it's not like that everywhere. I can buy a 2-bedroom house in a small town for 50,000 euros if I want. But I would have to move to a rural area, and I'm not sure if I want to.

I'm originally from Eastern Europe. Where I'm from, you can buy a 2-bedroom apartment for 25,000 euros, and that's in the capital city. Similar apartment in a small town would be 15,000 euros.

It's all about the geography. :)
