You are right about all of these, Zulu’s. BUT! We can apply many of these points to Medium, no? Many of us share our experiences writing for Medium and show how we make $1,000-10,000 monthly from writing here or outside this platform. Yet, we spend time writing articles ABOUT Medium while we could be just writing ON Medium. Then, when we invite people to try it themselves, they make 30 cents per article at first… and we tell them they need an audience of dedicated followers, no? :) I wouldn’t be surprised if some folks who read about our results on Medium this it’s a dodgy site too. Oh! And we try to TEACH others something - it’s the main purpose of Medium!

All I’m saying is some of these side hustle are actually legitimate. For example, teaching others is not a bad gig. Making logos is pretty good too. With those two you need some experience and time. But it’s the exact same thing with Medium and with many other side hustles/jobs.
